"Joulukin on nyt lusittu." Niin ainakin meidän armas isoäitimme, vanha kansankynttilä, joulupäivän iltana totesi. Tiedä tuosta silloin, mutta meillä ainakin tämä lusiminen loppui eilen kuusen uloskantamiseen. Vain enkelikello, enkeli ja piparikaruselli jäivät. Niitä voi katsella ja kuunnella niin kauan kuin pimeyttä piisaa. Mieskin intoutui leipomaan. Katkeransuloista syödä P:n tekeleitä. Hän kun on meistä taitavampi pullien ja sämpylöiden leipoja.
The Man, P, made some classic Finnish buns. He makes them taste so fantastically good that I even took some to our next door neighbour, a 92-year-old woman that lives alone. She loved the buns also.

VastaaPoistaThe best buns are the ones with some butter and sugar in the middle. Before you put the buns in the owen press a hole with your finger in the middle of the bun and add the sugar-butter mix in to the them. Have fun making them!
