Talon laittaminen omaksi on aloitettu. Vanhat roinat ulos ja uudet (esimerkiksi kaffekupit) sisään. Löytynyt kaikkea merkillistä kuten kirja miesväelle: Pukeutumisohjeita ja käytännönläheistä neuvoa kannesta kanteen. Ja sitten löysimme myös tämän:
We've started fixing the summerhouse. We found these old books in the shed. Among others a 50's book about style for men. Lovely! And then we found this:
Vuoden -32 saksalainen sirpalekäsikranaatti kuistimme komerossa! Armeijan saavuttua paikalle selvisi kuitenkin, että kranaatti oli onneksi tehty aikanaan vaarattomaksi. Löysivätpä he vielä toisenkin samanlaisen komerosta tarkemmalla etsimisellä. Kranaatit armeijan harmaat veivät onneksi mennessään, mutta täytyy ihmetellä mitä kaikkea sitä "matkamuistoina" säilytetään!
Yes, it's a hand grenade! The grenade had probably been in the closet of our lovely porch since the II world war. We called to the police and they called the military to check it out. Turned out that it was made harmless a long time ago but I bet you can imagine the shock of finding a thing like this.
.... but anyways I still love our summerhouse and a find like this makes it even more interesting!
